California Coast Roadtrip Photo Preview

Driving down the famous Pacific Coast Highway had long been near the top of my roadtrip bucket list. After all, it is one of the best road trips in the world with iconic views, and what about driving by the blue Pacific waters in the California sunshine sounds anything like less than pure paradise?
So when my sister decided to do her bachelorette party out in L.A. because there was a UFC fight out there (yep, that's my sister for you- such a classic bachelorette, right? Haha!), and I was planning on visiting San Francisco, my wanderlust-hungry brain jumped on the opportunity to finally tackle that epic coastal drive.
Route 1
There's not really an adequate way that I can sum up the experience, but I'll be covering different parts of the trip in more detail in upcoming posts. For a girl who saw some pretty epic nature-centric scenery hiking in Switzerland, I was pretty ridiculously giddy at some of the jaw-dropping views we encountered here.
As with any true world wonder, photos can only do it so much justice, but I wanted to share a little photo preview with you guys today for #traveltuesday!
The California coast has a little bit of everything for everyone. Mountains on one side, gorgeous multi-shades of blue waters on the other, then go a little further inland to hike and you get those famous redwoods, desert-like landscapes, and awesomely weird vegetation. I didn't get to hike this time, due to time constraints, but I will most definitely be back to explore those redwoods!

My favorite city in the world after NYC, Paris is actually as magical as they say. There is something there for everyone— knockout food, amazing wine, stunning architecture, art for days, famous sights, shopping, design, oh là là!
